Winning the Pick 4 lottery takes more than luck. Some players can claim that they are lucky because they are. Like the North Carolina man who keeps winning different lotteries in Virginia. On October 13th he received his sixth major Virginia Lottery prize when he claimed $65,800 in the Pick 4 midday drawing playing the 5117 as his lucky Pick 4 number.
Most players can’t claim such big wins, and lucky draws don’t pay out as much as straight guessing. Most players can’t even claim the smallest prize in the smaller lotteries that they’ve won. North Carolina man even won $11,000 playing a $1 dollar scratch off lottery ticket.
Most players don’t know how to pick winning numbers so they buy their selections blindly. Some, knowing they won’t win and others that they do and lose no matter what. Most pick 4 lottery tickets that expired September 30, 2010, had winning odd or even numbers as the winning numbers.
There are only 10,000,000 different possible winning Pick 4 numbers. So among those, there are very few ones that actually have a chance of winning the lottery jackpot. A good example of one of the few would be 1-2-3-4-5-6. The nearest to the winning line would be 1-2-3-4-5-7. It took the North Carolina man over a year and a half to win the jackpot.
The North Carolina man wasn’t even the only one to take home the $1,000,000 prize. According to the latest weekly lottery winner record, it was another North Carolina man that claimed the record. Detectives believe that the winning number he picked was the killer combination which was drawn on July the 14th, 2010.
From the looks of it, the North Carolina man may have been using the same routine as the previous guy who won the $1,000,000 in the exact same day. The difference is that the first guy won on 7-31-2010, Guess what happened on the 14th? Yep, the North Carolina man took home the $1,000,000 prize.
What is in the water? Why would the North Carolina man share the same lottery ticket number as the person who won $1,000,000?!!
If you live in North Carolina, answer that question. That’s right, it’s a big lottery secret. Unlike big lotteries where the entire lottery jackpot goes toward paying off all of the different combinations, the North Carolina Powerball lottery only offers the jackpot to one state in the plate. The other states have their share of lottery money. Some of that lottery money is used in the Powerball jackpot and some of that is spent like Powerball spreads in many other states.
Here’s an example of what lottery spread management means. Let’s say a player bought 20 Powerball tickets in one draw. He knows this number won’t come up again for at least four years. He can decide this number is not part of his luck. That’s fine with the dealer at the lottery retailer. The 20 Powerball tickets aren’t bought at the same time as the other 20 Powerball tickets. They would be bought at a later date. This type of lottery syndicate is one of the best. It’s an insurance on your part that your numbers will each be the winning one.
